Continuing Education for Judges and Judicial Department Employees

The CJI Judicial Education Committee works in partnership with individual judges, attorneys, the State Court Administrators Office, district administrators, and others to identify the educational needs of the Colorado judiciary and judicial department staff. 

The committee utilizes numerous methods - including designing and hosting classes, raising scholarship funds, supporting conferences or seminars - to bring about educational opportunities.

CJI has long held the position that a well educated judiciary and judicial department staff increases efficiency, innovation and effectiveness to the benefit of the entire state.

CJI provides scholarships for judges and full-time judicial department staff to attend educational programs, for educational supplies, or in support of conferences.  Please visit the Judicial Education Fund Page for grant applications and rules.
