Under the direction of CJI Vice Chair Elinor Greenberg, the Public Information Committee has continued to publicize CJI programs and events to our membership and the public through various media.

The more highly visible profile of CJI’s work has been enhanced by building personal relationships with local print and television media outlets. Press releases are sent to an extensive media list both before and after all CJI events. A photographer also provides images for the press. Coverage of CJI events has been consistent in the Colorado Lawyer, The Docket, Law Week Colorado, the Colorado Statesmen, the Intermountain Jewish News, the Villager, the Rocky Mountain News and the Denver Post due to the efforts of Elinor Greenberg, other Board members and CJI staff. In addition, the Denver Business Journal, the Boulder Daily Camera, Longmont Times-Call, Pueblo Chieftain and the Greeley Tribune have reported on the CJI Judicial Excellence awards and annual dinner. The committee and staff continue to work together to spread CJI’s message to an ever-widening audience.

The CJI website (www.coloradojudicialinstitute.org) is designed to provide information on our mission, events and programs for the public and CJI membership. CJI creates a quarterly newsletter to keep the CJI membership informed about activities. The newsletter is sent to all members, either digitally or through traditional mail delivery. The newsletter is written by CJI staff, board members and guests.
