Judicial Education Scholarships

Continuing Education for Judges and Judicial Department Employees

The CJI Judicial Education Committee works in partnership with individual judges, attorneys, the State Court Administrators Office, district administrators, and others to identify the educational needs of the Colorado judiciary and judicial department staff.

The committee utilizes numerous methods - including designing and hosting classes, raising scholarship funds, supporting conferences or seminars - to bring about educational opportunities.

CJI has long held the position that a well educated judiciary and judicial department staff increases efficiency, innovation and effectiveness to the benefit of the entire state.

CJI provides scholarships for judges and full-time judicial department staff to attend educational programs, for educational supplies, or in support of conferences.

Apply for a CJI Judicial Education Scholarship

To apply for a CJI Judicial Education Fund scholarship, please complete the form below.

Applications will not be considered without a completed form.

One application per applicant must be completed. The applicant should be the person receiving the scholarship.

Don't forget that scholarships are only granted for the tuition and fees for classes and conferences, not travel.

The scholarship guidelines can be downloaded to the right. Please allow six weeks for the committee to review your application.

THE FORM CANNOT BE SAVED OR DOWNLOADED. THE SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS THAT YOU REVIEW THE FORM IN ADVANCE TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL OF THE INFORMATION YOU WILL NEED TO COMPLETE IT.
